JACQUARD & DOBBY DESIGN
I lead the development of jacquard and dobby programs through close, strategic partnerships with global mills—translating creative concepts into engineered fabric solutions tailored to loom capabilities. Leveraging tools such as Pointcarre and Adobe Photoshop, I direct the development and recoloring of custom artwork while aligning design intent with production feasibility.
Beyond design execution, I drive key product development decisions—negotiating cost structures, optimizing fabric content, and managing minimums to ensure alignment with margin targets. Through this approach, I consistently deliver high-performing yarn-dye programs that support both brand differentiation and business profitability.
My work spans a global network of mills across India, China, Turkey, and Italy, where I cultivate partnerships that enable innovation while maintaining cost discipline and speed to market.
Core Jacquard Program Development
Concepted and led the multi-season expansion of a top-performing jacquard yarn-dye program, evolving a core bestseller through strategic color variation to drive seasonal newness while maintaining consistency, margin targets, and production efficiency.
Optimized fabric construction from 60s to 50s in partnership with mills to improve cost efficiency while preserving quality, hand feel, and design integrity—resulting in a scalable, repeatable, top-performing program.
